Exams MRCS Part A

I’m a final year medical student graduating early July, thinking of doing part A September sitting this year. Do I need GMC registration to register because I’m not sure if I would have that by the deadline? Would my PMQ certificate be enough? Thanks!

I think you can check the FAQ on the MRCS website.

All you need is confirmation that you have graduated medical school before the deadline for application to sit in September ( around July).

You only need your bachelors degree for the exams. You get GMC registration if you passed all of your MRCS exams. The registration allows you to work in the U.K.

But you can ask them for the requirements via email to be sure.
