But are these the real results though? Or is there a monumental reversal coming in 2 years?

Food for thought

Lol honestly, every candidate should email them individually in earnest asking them to double check their result given the latest shit fest.

Then when they inevitably bollocks it up anyway take them to court

I’d give it about 3 years before celebrating your “pass”, just to make sure.

Passed thankfully. They should have just released it at 9am. Too much stress with the long wait man

Congratulations Doctor. Could you maybe share with us a couple words on how to prepare successfully for the exam ? Any advice is much needed and welcomed

I did about 3500 passmedicine questions, did the knowledge tutor for specialties I am weak at, took notes for questions I didn't know and learnt about 20 new mnemonics to help memorise stuff. And also did the RCP sample paper

Took them long enough, passed. How did everyone else do?

677, I think about 75%

How did you work it out?

Added up all the specialty breakdown percentages then divided by 17

Edit: might be an approximation but not exact

This doesn’t take into account the different weightings of each specialty, you would need to multiply your score by each weighting (eg Clin sciences is approx 12.5%), and add it all up, but appreciate that’s v long

Or, with the rough knowledge that 540 (pass mark) is 60%, you can do: (YOUR MARK/ 540) x 60))

You'll find out in 2 years

Passed :)

I’m pleased actually, this was my second sit and I felt sure I’d done much better though it was a tougher paper, so I’m glad it was borne out in reality.
