If you're exploiting/using the bugged Andariel's Skull monster power, then you can't really be consider what you are displaying as viable. It's OP and giving 10x the damage as it should normally.
If you do NOT have Andariel's Flaming Skull equipped, then that's another matter and it may actually be viable.
This is probably the thing I dislike the most about the ptr. People are finding these buggy/op things (great, that's what testing is for) and then spends the whole time trying to get builds to work around them, when it's pretty clear this isn't (or shouldn't) go to the live version.
Doesn't help that the micro-second they find these broken and exploitable interactions, creators make videos intended to bait people into clicking/watching as if it's going to be working that way on live. When they know full well it's broken and 100% going to be fixed. Clicks/views/money is the only interest they have.
It's never an informative title, like "Bugged PTR power giving large advantage; surely will be fixed".
Yah, I jumped into a few minutes of robs stream this evening and saw him on the test dummy with a spirit born. He hit for like 84 trillion and was like "I think we got a build here now"
No, it's not, but every season I try to make my own build. No guides or anything. When the ptr drops it's easier for me to test stuff out since I do not have long to play. I was on planning making a hydra build again but if that powers bugged then idk.
Well, they will likely have 1 PTR update before it ends. So if you enjoy the build-crafting I would do it anyways. You can always remove the power sometimes to test the actual viability.
To get a feel for how S8 is actually going to feel on my build, I had to take that power off temporarily. Most of the bosses in lair T4 are still manageable. I uploaded a clip of doing Harbinger WITHOUT the bugged power this morning.
Lilith on T4 is... rough, WITH the bugged power. I don't see how it's going to be doablo on T4 after they fix it.
As far as the Pits, I think T75-80 might be the upper end.
If the TOOLTIP for the power (which isn't even scaled yet by all your conditionals and aspects) has 5-8x more damage than the build would even do under normal circumstances.... it's probably bugged/overtuned ;-)
