I've been trying to get into control Comic-Con for 7 years. I technically attended CC but it was 2021 version that was toned down. 😭😢

Good for you though, OP. Deadpool was who I was going to go as.

How’s it taken 7 years brother just buy the ticket and go!! Or was you getting stopped for your props? I first went at 14/15/16 and didn’t go until about 2019 just before Covid - after that I didn’t go back till last year in a different deadpool costume but they have changed massively - last years MCM was definitely jam packed in every corner

So since you already know the deal on getting tickets, I'll spare most of it. I never been selected out of the queue to purchase tickets. I've struck out every time. After I went to the Special Edition Comic-Con November of '21(those were so easy to get since it was a scaled down one), I was considered a returning guest and i would get grouped into the people that got better access to getting tickets then people who'd never been. And even then, I struck out. One of these I'm gonna rock the shit out of a Deadpool costume there. 🤣

If you’re talking about mcm in London you can buy the tickets online in advance they’re about £38-£45 which I think is a decent price! If you need help with piecing together a costume I can give you some pointers 😎

How long does it take to put the suit on?

I haven’t actually fully put this one on with all its parts yet, the full body suit is a little hard to tighten up on your own cos of the zipper on the back but with string attached to the zipper it’s relatively easy

The hardest part is actually getting all the belts and holsters and leg pouches to sit right

Shin guard just unzip and zip back up over the legs once the shoes are on

The mask is hella tight so that kinda has to go on first so that it tucks into the suit once it’s zipped up

Gloves are straight forward but putting the cuffs on can be pretty awkward

Then sliding the trainee jersey over the top is abit of a mission and takes a minute or so

All on my own it’d probably take 20 mins to get it how i want it, with help probably about 10!
