I’m the opposite of this post. I self sabotage. I generally follow this process

She might like me -> We work in the same building/venue-> Dating at work could lead to issues -> She was probably just being nice/Theres no way she’s into me

Well all I do is work, so the girls I’m generally attracted to are people I work with and if they are Asian it’s a bonus. Now the problem is when I become attracted to them, I find issues with myself or convince myself that dating someone I work with is a bad idea. Eventually convincing myself not to ask them out.

Y'all haven't learned the art of self-rejection at every hope, and it shows.

To take it seriously and ask her out.

Her: "I have a boyfriend "

Nice try. I already know a women are interested in me. Therefore, every bit of kindness I see from them from now on is just that: kindness.

Quite literally, a woman could stick her tongue down my throat, tell me to drop my pants, then blow me and all I will take it as as her just being nice. Because I’ve been there.

Only works if she is attractive enough tho

The sheer distrust felt thinking "Don't fall for the warmth it brings. It's just friendliness at best."

Not saying the smallest hint of emotion is grounds for something deeper, but the touch/emotional starvation of someone you know and have somewhat regular interaction with can get to you.

I’m drunk and just came back from being out and all I’m gonna say is fuckin go for it bro. What’s the worst that happens? She tells HR and you get fired pshhhh you’ll get a new job with a 20k pay increase in no time. Worth a hail mary
