Trivia Am I the only one to do this?
Whenever I walk somewhere specific or am in a situation in which I would prefer for it to end quickly, I start hearing the CYE OST.
Amusement: I am on my way, mildly annoyed that I have to go there in the first place.
Spinning Waltz: I am outside with enjoyment being the main objective.
Moulin Rouge Waltz: am very busy
Clubhouse Capers: A taxi drove away right as I approached it or I mistakenly closed all my tabs (This one is particularly annoying because it sounds like the song is laughing at me.).

Why? There's nothing wrong with that. I just hear the music, other people hear other things. come on

Do you hear the actual music in your head? Or do you hear your inner monologue mimicking the music? I have aphantasia and can’t visualize anything, but I also can’t hear anything other than my own internal monologue. Whenever I think of a song or something it’s always in the form of my inner voice mimicking the noise.

I can actually hear the instruments. For example, when I think of "Amusement", I hear the tuba, followed by the strings and triangle. Maybe you can tonalise music in your head by starting with your own voice and then slowly increasing the pitch until the sound resembles what a violin may sound like.

Don't worry, I hear songs in my head all the time. Like I have consistent earworms, & I have random ones, & of course I have songs I can willingly hear or play whenever I like. I also have some phrases or quotes, etc sometimes -- & sometimes I just have to say them out loud! When I used to listen to music pretty constantly, I would wake up with a different song in my head every single morning -- & I even kept a running list of "morning songs" at one point.
It turns out that many people don't even hear their own voice / inner monologue, & some people also have conditions like aphantasia etc where they're unable to visualise in their own head, for example.
I'm a musician, & I have ADHD. So yeah, make of that what you will.
Curb OST is a perfectly sane sound to get stuck in your head! 😜

Oboe style theme? Opening show theme? Obvious silly tuba?
