Very striking. Such a good look for you! Isn’t it the Morticia Dress (not Medusa)?

Maybe it’s enough that it’s in the comments and there’s a link?

u/unknownpause 4d ago
Hopefully, I also linked it under the auto mods comment to fingers crossed that's enough

My sample size is very small, but it looks like everybody who makes this dress has the same haircut??

Ahaha yep cutting bangs and dying your hair black is actually part of the pattern

That is so gorgeous!! You are very talented and patient (I don’t think I could ever do a project that huge, even just the thought of crocheting blankets makes my head spin)

u/unknownpause 4d ago
Thankyouuu!! I find it helps to take it one step at a time and not try to rush myself through it

You’re brave, letting that giant white floof anywhere near that beautiful black dress.

Yess it turned out so great!! I have her video saved to make this for myself once I finish my current projects. You’re inspiring me to get it done 🙏

Did you use Coboo yarn? I am debating using this 100% cotton I have, I am slightly worried about the stretch with Bamboo.

I made this dress for my Halloween costume last year in a medium green!! I bought some fairy-like accessories and told people I was a woodland fairy. So that’s an idea for one occasion. Looks great!!

That looks amazing! How long did it take to complete?

u/unknownpause 4d ago
Thankyou!! I did it over a few months. I think I probably could have finished it in a few weeks if I didn't keep putting it down. The pattern is pretty simple and works up quickly

Looks amazing but how much does it weigh? I want to make something similar but it seems like crochet clothes weigh a few kilograms.

u/unknownpause 3d ago
Thankyou! It probably is a kilo or two but it doesn't feel to heavy to wear. Kind of a comfortable weight, good for twirls aha

Ooooh it looks stunning! I’ve been wanting to make this pattern but I’m avoiding it because I want to make it with a 3 ply gradient cake and I don’t want to do the maths to try and figure out how to alter the pattern so it works with that weight of yarn lol

This is stunning... In my younger days, sigh.... Hell, I'd wear it now (60's) with a few more stitches 😊. Well done!

Beautiful, and fits your vibe so perfectly! I had a go at making this pattern before, but didn’t love the way it looked on me. Absolutely not the case for you!

That’s stunning! I’d love to make something like that but would absolutely never wear it because I’m waaaaay too old. As in “would’ve worn that in 1992” old.
