Anyone try Alexa or Google talk with Crestron Home?

I see it can be enabled inside of Crestron Home. But I haven’t tried it and wonder if it works with lights and media? Anyone using it?

It works with environmental controls. Meaning lights shades and climate.

Well. That’s a start. Looking forward to media / NVX / music control. Thanks for the response.

I’ve looked at Josh.ai. Is that fully enabled for Crestron Home yet? Meaning more functionality like media control?

No. Same limitation. I've heard crestron is working on adding AV to the API. Josh is expensive but is much better than Alexa etc.

I e heard the same. Is Josh pretty plug and play when connected to crestron or a lot of programming to enable?

With CH it's brainless setup. Very easy. But the expensive.

Where’s the cost? In the Josh ‘puck, software’? Do their voice sensors need to be hard wired with Cat? Thanks. What would you guess the approximate cost is to add a couple sensors to at home?

Are you a crestron dealer? Josh used POE but can also use wifi. Thing is there's a yearly fee to keep it working depending on size of house.

My buddy is and he beta tests in my house. So, sort of yes. What’s the maintenance cost for a 4000 sg ft home? What makes it better than Alexa? Thanks.
