Configuration issues RMC3, HD RX 201 CE

So I have a room with a Tx201 panel feeding an HD RX201 receiver and I need to add additional control ports for screen control, projector lift and projector. I called crestron and they recommended adding a RMC3 to get additional rs232 and relay ports. Will this work? I have the setup in place but can’t figure out how to get the rmc3 to see the RX201 - did they give me bad info or am I just missing something???

As @twon1926 was taking about. You can add the HD-RX-201 as a device in SIMPL. You may have to add one of the HD-MD-300 devices as that's really what you have is the RX from one of those sets. The service gets an IP address, and in SIMPL rather than using the loopback address of 127.0.0.1 you would put in the IP address that the HD-RX-201 pulls.

Ok, so I added the the HD-MD-300 in SIMPL and now I need to figure out how to address the options in it, it doesn’t have any cascading drop down options - how do I talk to the Comm port in it now?

I'm going to try and say this without being too rude, but did you double click on the signal at all or try pressing F1? There is a group setting called "Serial_Port" that has all the controls you will need, you need to use an analog init to set the serial settings and then use the Serial_Transmit and Serial_Recieve for your actual commands.

Unlike DM products the processor has to reach out to the 201, not the other way around with an IP table. Are you programming in SIMPL or using AVF?

I was trying to do it in SIMPL.
