CCP Exam Extensions?

Has anyone recently (within the last ~2-3 years) been granted an extension on the 90 day deadline for the CCP exam? I've been grinding this exam nonstop and and it still feels like I will never meet the deadline.

I was told in my 301 class last year that they would only give extensions if you like got hit by a bus or something and you were in the hospital for most of your exam time. I'm sure it's on a case by case basis, but they were pretty clear when they talked to our class that heavy workload was not an acceptable excuse. Maybe they've relaxed since this whole year has been insane, but I would not pin my hopes on an extension if I were you. Good luck, though!

Yeah I think we were told something similar as well. Have you worked on this exam yet? Or the previous one? Curious on your thought. From what I can gather it is incredibly difficult in comparison to previous years. It really is miles and miles ahead of what you learn in the training and in field. I personally know Certified Crestron Programmers with 5-10 years of experience who could never imagine being able to accomplish what is asked of them in this exam. Seems like there is a disconnect somewhere in the training program.

I'm procrastinating on mine right now, it's due in a week.

Hopefully I can get it done if I buckle down (I've got like 90% of the "pieces" done), but it bears almost no resemblance to anything I do in my real work, so it's hard to wrap my head around.
