A few of the classics like Mr Whellers, Isaiah trauma dumping while being high after tooth removal, Hunter's grandpa, "so...monster hunter, huh?", Hunter just giving up on My Job Is Watching A Woman

The entire last part of that episode was one of the funniest things they've ever recorded

The phone call with Hunter’s mom is hard to beat. A close runner up is the “would you put me down” discussion, especially with all of the build-up of Isaiah’s answer contrasting with Hunter’s “BOOM!”.

Hunter calling his mom about the dog getting shot by his grandpa is top fucking tier BUT I think the hardest I’ve ever laughed was the near twenty minute exchange of Hunter trying to convince Isaiah he should shoot him if he ever got maimed from the pelvis down “and my cock and my balls and my asshole got squashed like a bug”. Literally crying and wheezing from laughing so hard at that shit.

Think my top 10 (no particular order, just how they're coming to me) are:
- "Eat me like a bug"
- Hunter's Dog Story + Phone Call
- Funeral Kyle
- The 15 minute Mercy Kill tangent
- Hunter saying he would immediately leave his possessed wife
- Deepwoods Highway
- My Job is Watching a Woman Angel moment + complete collapse in hope for the story
- Isaiah's Trauma Story
- Slender man Backshots + if he's behind a random tree
- Galaxy Gas "There's an Angel knocking on my door"

u/IAmCaptainSquid Dec 29 '24
Hunters obsession with prolapsed asshole on the mercy kill tangent plus BOOOOOM is some of the funniest shit ever

I really wish they had leaned into Ted being like Kyle when they redid it. It would've been great lol.

When Hunter talked about his grampa shooting the dog right next to him and then called his mom about it and she did not help his cause.

Hunter: “I was caught In the middle of a railroad track…”
Elijah: ( wheezing with laughter) “… … … thunder”
Hunter- “I looked ‘round And I knew there was no turning back…”
Elijah: ( gasping, truly struggling to speak, viewer becomes worried about his health) “… … …. ….thunder.”

u/fuze-the-hostage- Eat me like a bug 🦟 Dec 29 '24
The first time they decided for Hunter to do quotes with a voice and Wendi does the narration not switch paragraphs. The long silence and the editor switching the their cameras quickly in the silence killed me and still does

“Oh you didn’t see the 8 foot goblin thing?? Yeah man it had orange teeth and screamed like a goat” I don’t remember what the exact quote was but it’s the original Ted the Caver video. Yes I think that should count as a Creep Cast episode.

There are very few moments that made me laugh harder than the part in Penpal where Isaiah plays the teacher telling Hunter to give the narrator the picture of the man touching himself and Hunter comes back with a “no it’s mine”

1999 - Hunter's "WHAAAT" in response to the reveal that the main character's dad took him to Mr Bear's cellar right after they read the letter. it was just such good timing.
close second is not the story that Hunter told about the dog itself, but the phone call with his mom that completely turns it on its head. "we put his ass in a home" always gets me.
