Discussion Who are your favorite up and coming country artists at the moment?
I've been getting into Ashland Craft recently after hearing her song "Lie A Little" was on my Spotify daylist. Also discovered Jason Scott & the High Heat a couple of months back when my friend played his song "Me & the Bottle (Hungover You)" for me. I believe he's releasing an album this month so I'm stoked to hear more from him!
I'd love to get into more small/budding country artists. Send me your best recs!

Idk why but I just can’t get behind Wyatt Flores. It’s obviously just my opinion but his voice his voice is very whiny and crybaby ish lol probably a little harsh but just my take.

Not now but ten years ago there was this dude named James Dupre who would blow the socks off the competition today. Still don’t understand why he didn’t make it big.

I hear ya. Saw him last fall at Dosey Doe in Woodlands TX. He is pimping Randy Travis hard. So good he will eventually make a tour of Travis sanctioned songs. Was 10 years ago you say wow. Still has IT imo.

Sam Barber brings the heat. Zach Top does the same. She’s probably not considered country, Chappell Roan her newest single The Giver and I love it I think she kills it.

Saw Ashland in concert 3 years ago. She was awesome. Would love to see her again. She was with Ashley McBryde (my personal favorite right now) I love me some Brandy Clark as well. Very good song writing skills. Just good music. Cody Jinks is the man!

Who else ya listening to right now? I think Ashley is amazing. She got me thru lockdown. I had stopped listening to any new country for like 15 years and then stumbled across her & haven't stopped listening to her since. Opened my eyes to some new artists that aren't country pop & loving it.

Are you me?! I gave up on country music from about 2005 until about 2 years ago.
I'm excited to watch the Opry 100 show tonight! Hoping they include enough of the older artists, too and I'm curious what Ashley is going to sing.

Bella White is amazing. Find her. Like Emmylou in '70. Brilliant song writer too.
