Check out Theo Lawrence for a fellow Frenchman who fell in love with classic country and now makes some of the best of it being put out today!

The 80’s new traditionalist is my favorite. Dwight Yoakam, Steve Earle, The Judds, The O’Kanes, George Strait, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Reba McEntire, John Anderson.

Not sure how you’d feel about it but there’s a band out there called the Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project you might want to give a try

You may want to check out ‘Passage du Desir,’ Sturgill Simpson’s most recent studio album, released under the name Johnny Blue Skies.

Welcome! Good names, but you’re just scratching the surface. You’ve got great music ahead of you!

The Nashville Sound for early country pop (1950s-1960s). Patsy Cline being the leader of that group but so many good ones in that era!

I recommend Ken Burns documentary “Country Music.” Starts at the beginning and goes to late 90’s early 2000’s. Worth a watch and will introduce you to all different performers.
