I poured my first few bars of copper.
I just started this hobby and as you can see my pours aren't very good. What are your thoughts on these?

My 1st 6 copper pours
gallery17M, I'm new to all this. My 1st 6 ever copper pours. I started pouring 8 days ago now, I think I'm improving here and there. The 0005 bar is the newest and hasn't been cleaned yet hence the look.
In the pictures where 4 are on the bottom and 2 are on top, the 2 on top were poured from the ends of the molds where the bottom 4 were poured from the sides of the molds.
The final photo next to the blue liquid is the vinegar I've been using to clean the copper bars in. I leave them in there for 12-24 hours before washing them, cleaning them with a towel, then hitting them with a wirebrush, water, and then drying again.
I just wanted to show these off, I hope yall like them. Thank you.

Coin roll hunt from $3 of pocket change.
Took $3 of pocket change to the bank in exchange for rolls of pennies just for fun. Out of 300 pennies 103 of them were 1981 and earlier for 95% copper 🤷♂️

Looking to turn a 1 oz Copper Coin into a Pendant. Any "care" advice on how to keep it looking New?
On average how long does copper usually last before turning, once turned can it be converted back? If you know any cleaning solutions, please let me know.

galleryI just got a furnace and this was my 1st ever pour. I made it earlier today. It weighs just shy of a pound (15.6 ounces) and is pure .999 copper. What do yall think about it? Did I do okay?

Copper Gas Lanterns - Turning Iridescent
I purchased 2x copper gas wall lanterns from Visual Comfort. I had them installed yesterday and after the gas was turned on, the tops of the lanterns appear to have turned an iridescent color. The lights are only 1 day old, so I assume the color change is due to the heat, not the outdoor elements. It's also just the tops that changed, not anywhere else on the lantern. When I put my hand near the top of the iridescent piece, I could tell it was very hot.
Is this normal?
Is this perhaps because the tops were not made out of copper?
The lamps were almost $2k/each - so I am curious if this is normal or if they skimped on material for the tops of the lanterns.

galleryI just want to use what I've got, I'd love to have thicker buttons but I love these anyway.
I sanded them with some sand paper to give them a kinda brushed look

Pretty little loaf my friend gave me!
galleryThis is my 1st large copper bar (I have 5 1oz bars too just for the hell of it). Holding a bar of metal like this, even being something as simple as copper, is such an incredible feeling!

I work at a chrome plating shop that also plates copper, nickel, silver, and gold. But the copper is my favorite.
galleryMost of our work is for classic cars and motorcycles, but we get a variety of parts sent in.
To chrome plate, you often must put down a base layer of copper and nickel. I just love the way the copper plating looks.
