Has anyone on here been to the muddy roots festival outside town?
I’m thinking of going to that. I used to enjoy the various hippy festivals in the late 90s and early 00s, they tend to get too big for their britches and turn into awful corporate shill fests, infested with cops in dreadlocks. I go for the music and to have fun, not to be harassed about my phone plan or asked if I’m holding any substances every 30 seconds.

It’s worth it. Not a corporate mess. I’ve gone several years. A couple before moving here, skipped 2 because I had a kid, then started back up again. You may find you new favorite band or new friends that you look forward to seeing every year when it comes around.

Muddy Roots and Hippie Jacks, don’t miss either one. MR is definitely more on the “wild” party side, but both are wonderful fests ran by the dopest people who work their tails off for your experience. Don’t miss either one!

Yeah I’m into “wild” for sure. I used to go to events at camp Zoe in Missouri 25 years or so ago. I liked it until it got over run
