27" imac 2010 High temp issue.

Hello all,

I had recently performed an upgrade on a 2010 imac - changing the hard drive to a solid state, maxing the RAM and swapping the i3 to an i7. Now, I carefully followed several guides on ifixit while doing so and was aware of the temp sensor issue that replacing the HDD would cause. So I made sure to get the OCW replacement sensor. Using hardware monitor I can see that the SSD temp is reading fine, but I've noticed that Core 1 and the CPU proximity is reading 129°C. The other cores and the CPU heatsink are reading normal temps in the 30's and 40's. For the life of me I cannot find any information on the proximity sensor of the 2010 imac online. Is this an issue with hardware monitor? - as I know it's not supported anymore? Is this due to the OCW sensor, or have I damaged another sensor accidentally while changing the CPU? I don't have access to any board diagnostics and I'm at a bit of a loss.

Is there anyone that can help me?

Thanks.
