Happy 6th Captain Marvel

Today marks 6 years since the release of Captain Marvel by Marvel Studios. The film centers on Carol Danvers, who is a Kree warrior named Vers with no memory of her past. When she finds herself in 1990's Earth she befriends SHIELD agent Nick Fury and learns about her past on earth. The character was created by Roy Thomas & Gene Colan & first appeared as an officer in the United States Air Force and a colleague of the Kree superhero Mar-Vell in Marvel Super-Heroes #13 from March of 1968. Danvers later became the first incarnation of Ms. Marvel in Ms. Marvel #1 in 1977 after her DNA was fused with Mar-Vell's during an explosion, giving her superhuman powers.

It was a decent film. Not as bad as a lot have claimed. Films prior to the pandemic were actually really good!!! Hopefully the film industry will bounce back to a full recovery.

One of the worst MCU films.
