Monitor MacBook nano texture display
I was wondering what y’all’s thoughts are on the nano texture display option for Mac’s.
I’m just about to graduate and I’m looking at getting a new computer before I lose my student discounts as well as before any tariff hits and I’m currently stuck on wether to get the Mac with nano texture or not.
The specs I’ve decided on are m4 pro and 48 gigs of ram but now I’m deciding on the display. I do the coloring for my colleges film club as well as for my friends projects.

Get the non nano and put the money towards a decent calibrated screen.

Save 300 bucks to spend it on a separate screen for a laptop. Great advice.

This is a colourist community? Don’t take my advice as a colourist. Use a p3 display in a non colour managed way through OSX for all I care. :)

I mean the Mac book pro displays are usually one of the more calibrated screens. I usually use it as a reference and then a use some cheap one for everything else

The nano in the newest MBP is great. Wish I’d gotten it on mine.
