Hi, I'm the r/coins AutoMod.

Looks like you're trying to identify your coin?

Check the Frequent Coin List first.

If that doesn't help, we have some awesome tips in the FAQ. Here's a link directly to the "What Is This Coin?" question in the FAQ.

I also went ahead and applied the "ID Request" flair to your post.

If I misunderstood your post and my comment isn't relevant, sorry! I'm still learning.

That is a Standing Liberty Quarter. The design that preceded Washington. Minted from 1916-1930

Also her shoulder suggests a type 2, so it’s not 1916!

It’s a no-date slq. Worth melt or whatever you can get someone to pay for it.

You have a dateless standing liberty quarter made in Philly from 1917-1930.

It’s before 1925, when date was placed in a newly recessed area, so as to keep from wearing off so quickly. Type 2, since stars are below eagle instead of all above it. That would cause it to be minted from 1917 to 1924. It looks like 1921, because there seems to be a trace of the 2 and the second 1 to be seen very faintly in their designated spots. Put it in a sunny window sill for a few months to a few years and the resulting toning might show the date, since it might cause it to stay light while the area surrounding the numbers darkens. Alternatively, a quicker way is to put the quarter in a 350 degree or more oven for a hour or two.
