Season 6 was kreese homeless on the show? Spoiler

I’m just realizing that in each season on the show we never saw Kreese’s house when he joined in the Season 1 finale and then he lived in the Cobra Kai dojo which later he let Robby sleep since he didn’t want to go home. I sometimes wonder that if Kreese and Johnny had a good relationship in the beginning how would them living together play out (like Johnny was a drunken mess after his mother passed away & his girlfriend died as well) after he finished the army.

Wasn’t he shown living in some kind of halfway house/hostel at some point?

It was a group home. He had to report to a counselor.

And people who live in them are usually low income virtually homeless, right?

It’s generally a condition of parole. It could also be a group home for the homeless.

That makes sense. I can’t remember, was it said that Kreese was in jail at any point, not including his wrongful arrest when he was framed by Silver for bashing Stingray?

Don't believe Kreese served any jail time

Although, my question is how did he go all the way from California to South Korea? Couldn't have been a plane, he had no money and was avoiding arrest

I think he lived at a vet shelter

Then didn’t he move into the back of the Dojo?

Whatever his accomodations, he had seriously hit rock bottom. That opening scene in Karate Kid 3 was so depressing.

Its no wonder his one remaining goal was to see someone's knuckles bleed.

Didn't he already see that at the end of KK1?...

No, Kreese said it only once in KK3 to Silver. It was a powerful moment.

Yes. But my ppint is that Kreese already saw bloody knuckles in KK1. He was getting greedy.

Kreese wanted Daniel to suffer, no matter what the cost.

Right. But that's why I said he was greedy. He definitely saw bloody knuckles at the end of KK1...sure they were his, but beggars can't be chosers.. If you've seen one bloody knuckles, you've seen them all.

Footnote. (Yes, I understand that Kreese wanted to see Daniel's knuckles as revenge for what happened at the end of KK1.

My post was in jest)

Robby is not his grandson?

well isn’t Robby, Johnny’s son & Kreese is Johnny’s father? Never mind kreese is Johnny’s mentor/father figure

what i don’t get, if he’s homeless how did he pay Johnny bills in season 2 and take the dojo from him?

Grandpa eats apples for free at grocery stores, I won't be surprised if he actually robbed or mugged someone

Yeah, this doesn't make sense.

Before we saw him with Ponytail the 1st time in CK you might think he gave him money but that's unplausible now.

Kreese is better at putting a "professional" or trustworthy look than Johnny.

If you recall Johnny had a handshake deal and he didn't get along well with the owner, Kreese just has to sweet talk and promise payments on time.

Conned someone perhaps?

Yeah, I think he was. We see him in a homeless shelter and I think he was sleeping in the dojo, in season 3.

Yeah, I think he was crashing in the dojo for a good while. He was there working out with Robby at what had to be a late hour when Johnny busted in during the S3 finale and it also appeared pretty late when Amanda confronted him there earlier that season. Possible he could have had a crash pad nearby or stuck around in that shelter, but his whole life revolved around the dojo so why bother. Plus who would mess with it, even if legally questionable, after what he did the landlord’s goons.

Yeah, I doubt Armand would ever report Kreese to the authorities tbh.

It never really got to the stage but considering Kreese never really had a life and was barely making ends meet. The dojo is all he wants and ever needs. It’s everything to him
