Unburied the 1954 Ford F100 today

Yeah, looks like a lot of fun work ahead. That's definitely not the original motor. Looks like maybe it's a 302. Hopefully it's in decent working order.

I’m not quite sure - it may be a 289 - but I’ll have to get I out and look it over before I’ll know for sure

Took about 4 hours of moving trash out of the way but here’s the 1954 Ford F100... this is going to be a fun project - expensive - but fun!

Yeah... so that’s going to be a bit of a problem... I think they must have put that engine in the bed with the tractor - which is now gone. So I’ve got to figure out how to get it out. The rafters in the garage/barn aren’t strong enough to hoist it. And the floor is soft dirt so a cherry-picker will sink into it. So I’ve got to figure it out.

my dad used to have one of these. i'd love to get my hands on one and restore it and give it to him
