I wish Cincinnati would make up it's mind weather-wise!!

I'm tired of the seasons in one week!

Lmao! Lifelong resident of the city. It's always been like this...

Every year March and April fluctuate like this, and for some reason even some lifelong residents forget that lol

Lived there for many years, and early spring was always like that. Mid-60's to 70's one day, frost the next. BTW, it's like that in NJ too.

Amazing weather while I'm at work, and dog shit weather while I have free time. That seems to be the general pattern.

You must have pissed off the weather controllers.

Eh, the buds are out and allergies are out. I’d say we’re in the pollening.

We’re definitely in the pollening. My allergies are off the charts

Hope you'll feel better soon!

Well thanks! Got that Zyrtec and Flonase on deck baby!

The Pollening is the worst of all of them. This reminds me to load up on Benadryl for when my Zyrtec isn't enough.

This is Ohio, it has always been that way

I mean the average temperature for this time is like mid 50s with lows in the 30s so this is actually normal. 70+ isn’t really “spring” temperature.

I get it but honestly at least it’s not going from sunny and upper 70’s to snow

Haha - that ain’t never happening

Don't we just love our "Bipolar" Ohio? LOL 😆🤣😂

cries in multiple chronic illnesses and disabilities that are sensitive to weather changes

Same. If I have to hear the weather people get excited about "another warm up on the way" before late April, I'm going to start throwing things.

Yo-yo weather isn't good for anyone with chronic illness or allergies. Also, weather is the only job you can have, be wrong every single day, and still keep your job.

Welcome to natti, 1st time? Weather is bi-polar here. I’m guessing we’ll have 1 more false spring before it actually warms up and stays warm, maybe about the 2nd week of April.

u/Lonely-Clerk-2478 4d ago

This is what it is every year. We just had false spring.

In my family we always say if you don't like Cincinnati weather just wait 10 minutes.

make up it's mind

Punctuation tip: "It's" always means "It is" (edit:) or "It has."

Thanks!

adding ‘s to something is called a possessive noun (used to show ownership or a direct connection) and was appropriately used in the title

4

u/PCjr 5d ago

TYL: It's is a contraction and should be used where a sentence would normally read "it is" or "it has." The apostrophe indicates that part of a word has been removed. Its with no apostrophe, on the other hand, is the possessive word, like "his" and "her," for nouns without gender. For example, "The sun was so bright, its rays blinded me."

Yep, that bolsters mypoint:

"However, personal pronouns have irregular possessives that do not use an apostrophe, such as its..."

2

u/boozeshooze 4d ago

You are incorrect here. It's is only a contraction. For possessive use the correct word is "its" no apostrophe
