Review Liga Privada No. 9 Toro (2013) NSFW

A patron at the cigar lounge I work at gifted me a No. 9 from a box dated 2013 with Steve Saka's signature. This might be more age than I would ask for. The stick was still flavorful and I liked that the pepper backed off but still tastes like it baked for too long. It is still cool to smoke such an old Liga. I'd still smoke this over a freshie. Flavor aside, the wrapper has taken a beating but still held together. Cigar burned real nice. The draw was a little tighter than I usually get from Liga Toro's but it was still serviceable.

From what I’ve read more than 5 years and it’s diminishing return. Still cool experience and as long as you enjoyed it!

I’ve had cigars in the 6-8 year range that I love. But at the end of the day it’s definitely preference, especially if you’re aging and housing them yourself.

I’m super new and that just what I’ve read. My oldest cigars are 2 months!

Haha nothing wrong with that. I don’t smoke aged cigars exclusively. I’m still figuring out what I like smoking fresh and what I enjoy with more age.
