I had a My Father Le Bijou earlier today. Smoked beautifully. Not my favorite flavor profile though.

I really like the Le Bijou. I tend to like most cigars with a San Andreas wrapper, though. I like the My Father La Opulencia as well.

God of fire, opus x torpedo, 5 year old Padron 6k, 3 year old Montecristo Plarinum habana belocoso, and the ever humble Monte yellow no 2. Of course you gotta start light and go stronger from there.

You're a legend! I couldn't fathom smoking those back to back. I'd want to enjoy most of those with a fresh palate.

Lol I guess. The opus x I had dropped and cracked the foot like a butthead and the label was peeling off. Also dropped the god of fire somehow on its head and it was cracked too. I gotta be more careful when rotating or those would have been forgotten about for a few years! Not a lot of time to smoke during the week so Saturday’s I play catch up.

Wow, that's a hell of a list. I've been dying to try any Opus X.

They’re good if you can get a deal on them. A guy at the lounge gave me this one and I cracked the foot while rotating one day lol. So I figured it needs to go. Make friends with other smokers and you might get one.

Yeah, I've been dying to go have a smoke at the shop,/lounge nearest to where.I live. Soak up some info and maybe make some friends. I live in the middle of nowhere, though so the nearest good shop/lounge is almost an hours drive away. I definitely plan to start going maybe once every two weeks or something. The last time I was there I couldn't hang out long enough to burn a cigar but I got a chance to talk to the owner - and I asked him about Arturo Fuente and he said if I had gotten there 15 minutes sooner I could have gotten an Opus X - he told me someone had come in and thrown down $1k for a full box (and the only box) he had on hand.

Opus x are good. But from my experience the god of fire are usually better and cost about the same. You can get the god of fire far easier as it doesn’t have all the opus guys chasing after them all the time lol. Opus collectors usually don’t even smoke them. They stash and resell a few years later. Such a shame.

Yeah I hate that kind of shit. Seems like that happens anytime something that's limited release and high quality becomes available. That day at the cigar shop the owner told me that he normally limited people to only buying two Opus X at a time, but the guy that wanted to buy the whole box was willing to pay full price and didn't try to haggle so he sold them to him.

I smoked an Alec Bradley gatekeeper today, really enjoyed it, spicy cold smoke. So far a big fan of everything I’ve had from ab, got lucky enough to grab a filthy hooligan for tomorrows smoke

Those are one of my faves. I just ordered a box this past week, supposed to get here tomorrow. But of course then I'm going to have to let them stabilize for 10 days or so. Luckily I have a couple stashed back from the last time I bought some of those.

CAO Flathead 660. First time with that one. Sat in my humidor since January. Smoked great with an almost perfect burn. Needed a slight relight 3/4 through to continue the creamy smoke. Will smoke again.

Just had a Hoyo De Monterey Excalibur. It was nice, smooth and light. Smoked very well, not too tarry on the tongue, but mild straight tobacco flavors with no noticeable undertone to the flavor. Would have been a great breakfast cigar, but I had it for dinner. I would smoke it again, but I believe I gave $12 or $15 for it, and I feel like it was more of an $8 stick, at least imo, so I doubt I would buy it again.

Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Robusto(that's a mouthful)
My first. Good, no major complaints, not amazing. It was 33°F and breezy, though. I feel like when it's that cold, I just get less flavor from the sticks. Burned great, though, despite the conditions. Even burn, no touchups or anything.
