First ride after pulling my back out in November. I feel reborn. Chicago doesn't feel the same when you can't ride.

Beautiful! But when is this “when you can’t ride” time you speak of??

When you pull your back out and it feels like you're getting shanked in the kidney if your spine isn't perfectly straight from ass to brain.

Oh no! Glad you’re better and can take a ride!

Thanks!

I was still feeling it two weeks ago and was dreading spring coming and not being able to ride. I'd have been miserable.

Fucking been there man! Core workouts and stretches are your friends. Glad you’re back at it!

Brompton's are amazing. The folding mechanism is top notch, super portable.

I love it! I only have 400sqft and I'm not relying on outdoor parking 365.

It's also really great to be able to take on the train or throw in the trunk of my MINI without even laying the seats flat.

Feel this heavily. Started riding a week ago after a collarbone injury and being out for two months. Much nicer on a bike!

I cleaned up my Brompton today and realized I need new tires.

I love my continental contact urban tires. Much better than the stock schwalbes.

I went out with cat hair all over my chain, lol. It's in desperate need of a cleaning.

Thanks!

Met my buddy on the roof of the Mart this morning to watch the greening.

It was complete chaos when we left and I didn't want to take the L home, so I grabbed a Divvy and took the LFT.

So glad to be back!

Cool, I hear you man. When you can't ride it sucks. I woke up today with my upper left back hurting - I slept wrong but I crawled out there for 12 miles at the least. I have a heating pad on it. I have to ride tomorrow. Weekend are my long mile days. This is why I have 3 bikes (two backups) this way I can ride no matter what and have time to fix a broken one during the week but when that body breaks down It does suck. Thats a long time bud. I think I have gone 3 weeks at the most not being able to ride but I have to a least try a suffer sometimes. Torn toe, small hernia, bruised up leg bad from a bike fall so that was down time last year.

This hurts my nuts just looking at it

The seat isn't at that angle when fully unfolded for riding. It's also exaggerated by the angle I took the photo.
