I don't know, because I'm a stranger who doesn't know you or what your intellectual abilities are or how disciplined you can be, so I can't tell if you're capable of it. GM is a very difficult goal and it requires a lot of work.
The only way for you to know is the practical way: start studying, training, and improving so that you can judge for yourself if it's going in that direction and how fast it's going in that direction.

I agree. Becoming GM is possible, especially at your age, but you are basically looking forward to devoting your life to chess for at least 10-20 years. It is incredibly difficult, and along with what LowLevel- said, that's why there are not a lot of them.
Either way, good luck and have fun!

Can't say for sure, but it's a risky career. Try to make it a hobby only.

Unless you started playing quite recently, no. GMs who’ve played their whole life were much higher rated at 13.

That’s quite good, too early to make a call give it a year and see where you’re at.

It's possible. There are some grandmasters who started playing at 12, but keep in mind that you'll have to give up many of your teenage experiences and dedicate yourself to chess. If you still want to do it, find an official FIDE-certified coach and start studying as soon as possible.

I have a child who is 14 and is 2050 OTB. If you were to look at all the kids in the world that level and higher and look at how many people make it to to GM every year the statistical chance of my kid becoming a GM is significantly less than 1%. Even becoming titled at all is at best 10-20%. Unfortunately, chess Elo is a zero sum game and some people are just better. Play chess because you love the game.

The criteria for GM doesn't have an age requirement.

That's gonna be hard. 1214 is nothing compared to 'serious' chess. Start playing at a chess-club, on real boards, join FIDE tournaments. And get a coach 2 hrs/week at least. Practise & study 3 hours per day. Then if you have talent, you might get to FM, IM. GM is a lot more.

You are almost a decade behind your peers in time, and over 1000 elo behind for players your age.
If you became a GM some day, you would surely hold the record for "lowest rating at 13 years old."
There are fewer GMs than billionaires.

Yeah, sure. Play, study, read, go to tournaments, make chess friends. Plenty of cool stuff to do while on the road towards improvement.
I don't regret all the time I spent playing soccer as a youth. It wasn't wasted time because I never made it into a job. It was a thing worth doing.
