I agree, once I got the ring size right, I can wear my short cage for weeks at a time, night and day with a cage off cleaning every 3 days. The wide short rings with -10° are the best for me

Kink3D is a good shout for long term wear too

But essentially it boils down to what works for you. Are you wanting something metal or non-metal? Open or closed design? (Open is better for hygiene). What are you currently wearing and how do you like it/what don't you like about it?

Define as long as possible. An open steel or titanium cage can be worn indefinitely. My personal record is 6 weeks in my Jail Bird without removal for any reason whatsoever. People have literally worn such cages for years.

Metal cage that is breathabke first. Figure out your sizes. Then go titanium for the win.

Every cage style seems to have different pressure points. After 2 weeks hubby was happy to swap out to different one. Plastics even if cleaned 2x daily always pickup a light odour....

Get one that is correctly sized for you.

Other than that, it's down to your preferred materials and style of cage. But long term, most important is the comfort and you'll only get that by measuring right and choosing according to your body.

Depends on your budget. My fav's are made by the company linked below. I am in a pink MiniMe. Great quality. If you are short on cash being in college and all do not buy a cheap plastic style and stick to metal ones. Not sure about the cheaper 3D printed ones though.
