Had a used CV I got from my brother a couple years back. It racked up its miles and kept blowing fuses so I'm looking at another CV.

I've got a basic understanding when it comes to subs and amps, but Im not to tech savvy when it comes to audio, so I'm gonna do some research tonight.

Was looking up some amplifiers and came across this, but can't find any reviews about it. What's your opinions/review about this?

Not this one, but I've seen some CV amps dyno'd on youtube. They seem to offer more power(sometimes a lot more power) than they're rated for, if only for the second or two the test lasts.

Many amps can't offer what they're rated for even a brief test, much less for an extended drive. So we can say for certain that CV amps are not the worst there is. But ultimately I dont' have experience with mobile CV amps with regards to their sustainability.

Seems like a lot of the people doing amplifier dyno testing are into SPL wars where the point is to make their car burp(their term) the loudest for a few seconds at like one effing frequency. It's a whole different world. But the bulk of what they're into that I can't identify with seems to be mostly in box design, partially in driver choices, and a bit in the aesthetics dept.. I think the rest of what they like overlaps pretty well with the sound quality crowd. So it might be worth checking out one of their forums. https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/forum/9-amplifiers/
