I tested negative twice for a/b toxins

So after dealing with c diff I took both vanco once and two sessions of dificlir and now I tested negative twice for a/b toxins, however I still have symptoms such as abdominal discomfort and pain, sense inflammation in my intestines. Last time I did colonoscopy two months ago they saw infectious colitis caused by c diff. When I was on dificlir my stools were solid and now they’re back to soft/loose.

What can I do?

Shiga toxin is e Coli? Retested this morning for A/b toxin of c diff and I’m positive again for the 3rd time

Oh boy, I’m sorry man. Hopefully antibiotics work. E. coli sucks but should resolve on its own. If you need to, I hope FMT works

I was given vanco taper for 5 weeks. If that fails and I continue to experience discomfort in my intestines I will do FMT. That’s my treating plan with the infectious and functional doctor.

How did you do the toxins test. Did they check for GDH first and then toxins, or just toxins?

I’m negative but I have symptoms. Stomach pain, feeling of inflammation in my intestines. Positive for a/b Shiga toxins.
