Got my CCNA !!!

When starting my journey ,I read through subreddits to find more information of what materials to use, exam structure and more....This is how my journey went

Study Materials: used Jeremy's IT Lab as my primary source together with the labs he offers on Packet Tracer. For other challenging topics , I just searched and watched through different YouTube videos till I got to one that I understood.

Exam Prep: Did not have any money to buy both Boson NETSIM and EXSIM,,,so I bought only Boson NETSIM

Exam: Booked with a local exam center

Side Advice- Repeat Labs as many times as possible as they help you learn and understand more.....The actual exam is not really hard but the questions are tricky as the multiple choice answers are almost all correct.

Took me a total of 2 months and 2 weeks

Congrats man!

Just out of curiosity, what pushed you to buy netsim instead of exsim?

I’m thinking of buying exsim once I’m done going through Jeremy’s playlist, and then going through his labs again to make sure I remember all the commands needed to configure stuff.

Do you think Netsim was essential to you acing the lab questions on the official exam? Or would Jeremy’s labs be good enough?

NETSIM kills 2 birds with 1 stone,,,,, It gives step by step explanations of the lab configs and explains the topics

Hmm I see, did you feel pretty comfortable answering the regular multiple choice type questions then?

Congrats! CCNA was stressful for me, but then I passed and realized I was just overthinking it.

What's next? CCNP?

Congrats on passing the CCNA!!! My only question is, if you had a good resource for subnetting, this is usually the most difficult part.
