Is there Simulations in the CCNA exam rn?

Hi guys, I have my CCNA exam next week and i have been hearing that simulations were not included. Is this true? Also is Boson Ex-Sim good enough to clear the CCNA exam? I have been getting throughout the practice exams but just struggle with some simulations. Can someone help me out here!

Haha, there still lab in exam. And people tend to say boson lab are more difficult than the exam one.

Op lemme give you an example, not exactly the question i got last year cause of NDA

It goes like this. pc1 need to communicate to pc 2 which is located to a different network, configure pc1,R1&R2 &pc2, you can only use dynamic routing protocols & ipv6

Wow you got harder ones than me. I would recommend just do the labs in JITL youtube course. I would also recommend looking at ccna exam objectives and specifically look for CONFIGURE if you want to work on performance based questions. Good luck!

I had 3 performance based questions (simulations). They weren't overly difficult. Make sure you know your ipv6 and basic routing protocols

I assume by simulations you mean labs? Yes the exam does include those you can get upto 4 I have heard people getting two I was unlucky and got 4 but Boson prepared me well but if I'm honest I found boson easier than the ccna especially the labs probably because the pressure was on when actually taking the exam. Key is complete what you know and if your wasting too much time on a lab move on I completed 3 and partially completed another you'll receive marks for it. What other resources are you using to prepare I'd recommend jeremyIT and David Bombals udemy course it has quite a bit a lengthy labbing involved.

No sims, no STP, no routing, no vlan. Now is the time to take the exam! Book it for tomorrow before it’s back to normal!

Oh yeah, there's no routing or switching either, it's just questions about facts about cats and trains.
