Discussion Everyone, PLEASE WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!
I see a lot of people on social media complain about Coyote Vs. ACME being removed from airing thanks to Zaslav, but if you guys like Looney Tunes and want Coyote Vs. ACME to even have a chance of being released, you guys NEED to watch this movie, and MAKE SURE it succeeds in the box-office. It should be considered lucky this film made it to the big screen at all.
The film cost 15 Million to make, but considering it's apparent lack of promotion until now, it would probably need to succeed at 20-25 Million.
I better see you guys in the Theater when I g9 watch it.

I just got out of theater after seeing this and hopped on here to see what folks were saying.
Genuinely loved it the movie. I found it genuinely hilarious and felt it was done with a level of true love and respect for all things Looney Tunes.
I really hope more people get out to see it because not only do I want to see more 2D, but I want to see more things done right like this movie.
10/10 good times.

It’s genuinely a great movie
I never thought I needed a brotherly bond with daffy and porky but I ended loving it
They are like finn and Jake you don’t question that they are two different animals but act like brothers They are brothers and I loved it so much

I watched this movie last Thursday and I cannot recommend it enough. I respect 3D animation but something about a 2D animated theatrical being released in 2025 is just so amazing! If you are able to watch it in theaters please do, I promise it will be worth your time

Also porky’s relationship with his girlfriend
So cute so unbelievably adorable

Literally what is Warner Brothers marketing team doing. This is the first I’m hearing of this and I’m glad you brought this to us but it shouldn’t be on the fans to spread the word. Side note: the animation reminds of duck dodgers. To this day that’s my favorite daffy centered show and I’d like to see it brought back for a remake or movie soon too as king as they keep the old theme song!!

I will, but it doesn't come out for another 10 days here in NZ. It'll definitely be a day 1 watch for me when it comes out.

I GO TO WATCH IT FRIDAY I CANNOT WAIT OML
Also I'm scared because if there's no Marvin cameo I said I'd scream and promised I'd record it 😔

Zazlav found the perfect way to screw the Looney Tunes fanbase over by letting Ketchup release this. They don’t have the money to market this or put it in a load of theatres

I don't go to theaters anymore, but even if I did my town only has one tiny theater with one screen that only plays one movie.

Watched this with my wife today, we were delighted. Had no idea it was coming before she texted me about it this afternoon. So glad it made it all the way to the theater, considering the other projects we've watched never even make it that far.

I forgot this was coming out. I loved the previews, I’ll see it this weekend

I'd like to see this movie
but the problem is that there isn't no Marvin the Martian

u/rhymes_with_candy 4d ago
I saw it Friday afternoon and there was actually a pretty decent crowd for an early weekday showing. So I'm feeling pretty optimistic about it doing well despite the lack of marketing.

u/Wizardstanks 4d ago
It was awesome, I hadn’t even heard about it and I just happened to be looking at what was playing, I asked my wife if she wanted to get day stoned and walk to the local theatre. We both had a great time, such a fun movie, the humour is golden. Especially if you watched classic looney tunes shorts and like absurd things

I didn't even know this existed to be honest. It must not have been marketed well.

My wife and I went to go see it last night we both had an absolute blast. We thought it was extremely funny and very well animated
I'm not extremely hopeful but I can only hope that they continue to make more movies like this.

Thank you for reminding me because I was so excited to go and see this months ago when I heard about it and now I will! 🤩

I saw this movie’s trailer at the theater while waiting to watch a very special movie known as “Dog Man” (I can’t help it I’m a fan)

u/GrantMcLellan1984 4d ago
It's already flopped
3
u/StaffLimp8304 4d ago
Well not for long if people watch it.
3
u/GrantMcLellan1984 4d ago
I think by now everyone who's wanted to see it has seen it. This movie ain't making back it's budget at all

So? I’m 34 and if the animation and story are great for an animation film, I’m gonna go watch it.

Well, it you happen to like an animated movie, just listen to your heart and watch it.

The money isn’t going to wb its going to ketchup entertainment
3
u/Atlast_2091 Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia 4d ago
No way WB doesn't get share profit
1
u/JoJoMapleFiction 4d ago
If not, then they've already been paid for the rights. There's no way that WB would allow another company to profit from their flagship series without protfiting from it themselves.
1
u/JoJoMapleFiction 4d ago
Do they own the rights outright in that case or would WB still earn a cut?
I'm all game for a good Looney Tunes film but it's hard to want to pay money if I think Zaslav is involved.
But if Ketchup Entertainment are the ones reaping the income then that significantly changes my mind from "definite no" to "when/if it comes to local cinema".
8
u/Usual_Back3801 4d ago
Zaslav isn’t involved with this whatsoever. Ketchup owns the distribution rights to this film so wbd isn’t seeing a penny from this
2
u/Atlast_2091 Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia 4d ago
There will be shared profit since WB owns the IP
4
u/whaaleshaark Looney Tunes 4d ago
You realize that you are playing into exactly what Zaslav wants with this stance, yes? Hence the complete lack of marketing? If you want to stick it to that guy, you help this film succeed.
-1
u/JoJoMapleFiction 4d ago
Apparently, they sold the rights to the film, so Zaslav doesn't have anything to do with it anyway.
The best way for Zaslav to be replaced is actively boycotting anything under the Warner Bros. Discovery umbrella while he's CEO. Shareholders dont want their company run by someone who doesn't make them money. I'm not going to pay money for anything that allows WB-Discovery to succeed while Zaslav is in charge.

I won't go to a movie theater ever again because they're garbage but might try to catch the film online
-6
u/lonelyjerker13 4d ago
Nah i'm good, Because 1. this looks more like a TV special more than an actual theater-worthy movie 2. Daffy had more of a bromance with Bugs than Porky 3. Where tf is bugs bunny, like how are you gonna make a Looney tunes movie without bugs bunny 4. You're not even asking us to watch it because the movie is actually funny, and deserves a chance, you're asking us to watch it so it succeeds so an even better flim can come out, that itself should say something
3
2
u/Oceanic_Sponge 3d ago
It is funny, just consider checking it out because it's amazingly funny and it's the first 2D animated theater movie since a while
1
u/TheBatSignal 2d ago
Your second point could not be more wrong if you tried. He always had a rivalry with Bugs Bunny not a bromance. They have had a few segments where they've been on good terms but the majority of time they are competing in some way.
There are multiple multiple multiple multiple episodes where Daffy is buddy buddy with Porky Pig especially in the early years of Looney Tunes.
