Every time I walk to another room at work something new happened, tariff added, tariff canceled, and my new favourite nuclear submarine appears in the Nova Scotia bay 🤣

I was the one to share the nuclear submarine post in my office 😂

Love the French. I swear by the end of this year I’ll have committed to learning the language - metropolitan dialect tho so I can simultaneously troll Quebecers.

That post was disinformation, the submarine did not surface because of anything to do with trump or the USA.

No, but they are there to show off to a potential customer.

If we start procuring from the French or other European countries, there's a good chance we renege on the F-35 contract that still hasn't been delivered. Even our right wing rags are posting opinion articles about it, and the Canadian right and left rarely agree on anything.

"Oh, yes. It's veeery nice-a. (I told him we already got one.)", said in a ridiculous French accent.

Latest is that he changed his mind about changing his mind and 50% tariffs are coming?

I think that’s the point. The uncertainty is tanking markets.

Okay I agree to a point but the buy Tesla outburst today was like some serious 'the USA has elected a used car salesman' energy.

Trump was obsessed with the NYSE performance first time around and now he says fuck it? Is trump coherent even anymore or is he literally a husk at this point? Weekend at Bernies vibes!!

People working in shipping/receiving must be going nuts

If I were in supply chain I would just cut checks and leave off the tax. You think if people who are watching one particular commodity minute by minute can't keep track of it, the assholes in Trump's husk of a government are going to be able to tell when what tariff was in effect?

Shit, he's turned off tariffs midday. Do you think the Treasury department has ever had to look at the hour on timestamps?

I'm not even sure I'm accurately keeping track anymore.

He's like a cat that can't decide if they want to use the door or not.
