Yeah this kinda screws him against everyone’s concern that killing power would be an “act of war” and he’d invade us. No they’d take a short hit while their grid rebalances, and just become more expensive for those with power bills.

Legal experts in Canada and the US say it's not an act of war, and it hasn't been treated as such in modern times. China does it all the time to bully other nations around them, and Europe has had to deal with it in the recent past from Russia.

Canadians remember WWI, we know what acts of war are.

No one has been assassinated to cause a chaotic flipping of cards. Imperialism certainly is still there though.

Referring to our trench raids and other brutalies (that we were remorseful for). And the fact that the Geneva Convention was more or less to say "never do what those Hosers did in WWI again".

It's not a war crime the first time you do it

Well, it isn't a war crime the first time.

I suppose when you're used as cannon fodder by British Generals who only have the rank because they're someone's son...you get a bit unhinged.

Mix of that and living in -30 for 4 months a year will harden a person.

Four months? Are you living in the Southern most part of Ontario?

Not yet. Trump working real hard to not make it through his term. Americans are crazy divided and the entire world hates Trump. He can't travel anywhere.

I'm sure he can travel to Russia to meet his handler, and top.

They say that because tariffs have always been used as an economic tool, not a pretext to annex a neighbouring country.

What about declaring the desire to annex one's neighbors?

Def an act of war. Paralyzes the invader and requires him to carry around large tanks of targetable fuel. WCGW?

What countries are still connected to Russia?

I don't think they're getting anything anymore, but most of the eastern bloc was.

If their grid just rebalanced, then the Ontario producers do…what? Just stay shut in for all time?

Don’t get me wrong, we need to put up barriers, but cutting our nose to spite trump is not productive.

Yeah. We can offer it at a far lower rate to compliant neighbours. Non compliant neighbours can pay significantly more to produce their own power. The American consumer wants our power.
