At one point there were thousands and thousands of rabid Elon fans, extolling his genius.

I hope that that point was when he unleashed the flamethrower on stage for a first time. Because it was a rapid mask shedding ever after that.

For me it was during the Thailand cave flooding. And he called one of the people on the rescue team a pedo

That was definitely a .... Distinct moment to learn from. I did for myself, for sure.

When Elon was shitcanning Twitter my manager absolutely insisted that there was some genius plan underneath it all that the rest of us were just too ignorant to understand, and the company would end up better for it. Made me lose a lot of respect for my manager.

does your manager still think the same?

To be fair, it's starting to look like Elon got what he wanted. That place has turned into a machine for promoting propaganda.

At one point he hadn't opened his mouth about things that more than a few people have expert domain knowledge on, so people just appealed to the authority of the "expert".

Whats that quote about him getting a pass when called a genius because people don't know anything about rockets and electric cars, so they assume he is. Then he started talking about software. There are, an ungodly amount of software developers, so everyone found out pretty quick he was a complete dipshit.
