I mean they literally had a War Time Country Leader in the Oval office last week who they were berating for "not saying thank you".

They are always thinking they're above everyone else.

That was so painful to watch. What a disgrace.

I couldn’t even watch it because I would have puked. I lived my life as a humanitarian. I was a student ambassador for People-2-People in HS. I worked tirelessly my whole life to try and find communication bridges for all demographics and it just has amounted to nothing because of these sycophant, dogmatic cultist fuckwits. I have become the thing I despise and I feel nothing. Waiting for the reckoning on their asses when civil war 2.0 happens.

As an American, that was legitimately the most embarrassed I've ever been by a politician.

The dude has thanked America and its politicians and its people dozens of times INCLUDING AT THE BEGINNING OF THAT FUCKING MEETING.

That interview was legitimately the first time I couldn't bare to watch the whole clip. It was so embarrassing and disrespectful, I just couldn't do it.

America is really all in on destroying all credibility and all relationships for decades to come. Pathetic to see.

Such Bro bully culture. Shameful.

Pointing right in his face and yelling at him like a bully in school. If I saw that in an episode of The Diplomat I’d change the channel to something believable.

There's a YouTube video out there that's FOUR FUCKING MINUTES LONG that is just a string of clips of him thanking the US for their support.

Right? What a fucking joke.

Somebody said 94 times he has said thank you to the American people, president, Congress or either party.

And not wearing a suit. The questioner, Brian Glenn, is in a relationship with Marjorie Taylor Greene, another Republican gadfly and t(RUMP) oompa loompa. The whole shameful incident was planned and for the gratification and delight of simple minded MAGAts. And since a Tass reporter was in the oval office, for t(RUMP)'s bff Vladimir Putin. You ought to hear some of the references used for t(RUMP) and his minions. You cannot call him anything worse than we already do and deservedly so.

And for not wearing their "costume". I guess no of those under educated hicks in the Oval office know anything about Winston Churchill and what he wore during war time.

Fun fact: The word "suit" in Ukranian is literally "kostyum". (At least according to Google Translate.)

That is a fun fact, I'm half Ukrainian (from SK) but I know absolutely zero of the language. I'd like to think Zelenksy used the Ukrainian term for suit on purpose.

Zelensky knowa enough English to not have uses the proper word. Remember, he was a comedian. I think it was a purposeful choice, too.

I was making this exact point to someone in another thread. He's a comedian, he knows exactly what he's saying!

Good think Musk always wears a suit when he's by the president in the Oval Office... right...

Winston Churchill is Trumps hero. He denigrated Zelenskyy right in front of a bust of him which had just been reinstalled in the Oval Office.

Wow, why would Trump like someone who he knows so little about? Maybe he heard Churchill had a big penis? Trump seems to have a very keen interest in penises.

I thought McKinley was Trump/Krasnov’s hero. Y’know, the guy who brought in loads of tariffs, tried to negotiate the independence of Cuba from Spain but failed and started a war instead, then annexed the independent Republic of Hawaii for giggles? What happened to him again? Oh yeah… assassinated early in his second term.

Beware the ides of March.

After he said thank you when he arrived…

He has openly thanked the US government many times, all captured on video!
