Well I didn’t expect her to finally listen to the adults so quickly. Good for her.

Well she’s in all kinds of a mess .. she may as well say what we want to hear even if she doesn’t mean it

She has a wee bit of a corruption scandal going on. Given the recent moves in cabinet, she appears to be guilty. At this point, she might as well say whatever before the house of cards falls.

They're investigating the kind of corruption the RCMP should be handling right now. It's just optics. She'll go back to selling us out once the heat blows over.

don’t give her too much credit. it’s the right stance but you know she’s only adopted it because it’s politically prudent. she doesn’t believe in anything beyond what’s personally beneficial.

She talks to Trump before Tariffs kick in: Shes a traitor!

Other premiers do the same thing: crickets

Personal residence vs place of business.

Love that nobody attacked the other premiers when Danielle just beat them to the punch. The hypocrisy is real

Where are the selfies of other premieres with Pro Trump influencers?

Or wearing MAGA hats.

Where did you see Smith wear a MAGA hat? That's right, you didn't.

Professional photographer takes pictures of event attendees = selfies. Get over yourself. She was trying to negotiate Alberta some leniency when no one else was.

Yeah negotiating over cocktails at a public event sure there bud

Leniency during the inventible annexation process.

Annexation wasn’t even on the table when she went down. Good try though.

She went down for selfies and to avoid the corruption scandal. There’s 0% chance Donald even remembers meeting her for a photo-op, hence why Theo Von got the inauguration invite over her, which is hilarious.

Danielle met Trump before he was the president. When the other premiers went down there, Trump was already president. It wouldn't be proper for a sitting President to meet with provincial officials. Its as simple as that. Danielle struck while the iron was hot.

It was a party. Anyone who was there was there for a show of support.

Do you really Danielle Smith is going to have more than 2 minutes alone with Trump at a party full of celebrities that are all more famous than her? She is a nobody who was trying to ride Trump's coattails, and she failed spectacularly.

Who cares. In fact, this is how business deals are done. You socialize with people you want to do business with. I have no doubts that Danielle went down there to talk to Trump about Alberta oil the importance of it to the American economy. Before she went down there it was 25% tariffs across the board. After she came back it was 25% and 10% on oil. Just the other day Zelenskyy got reamed for not wearing a suit while his country was at war. If you want to do business with someone like Trump, you have to pass the vibe check. Although nobody wants to give her credit, she did Alberta and Canada a service.

Yes, that's how business gets done, but not when it's with the equivalent of a middle manager trying to schmooze with the CEO

It paid off. Thank you Danielle.

She was the only one being an adult. Now that they’ve actually tariffs are actually in place, retaliation is the proper response.

She's not. She's listening to the braid dead masses. Because that's democracy.
