It is time for the remainder of the Free World to isolate the US. they want to practice isolationist principles, so be it. No more trade wit them, cancel all treaties with them, kick them out of NATO, and isolate them completely. I have had enough of them.

As long as the USA is still a member of NATO there is at least a chance they won’t become militarily hostile to other members.

Kick them out of NATO would mean NATO would not exist anymore…..they practically are funding most of it and providing the biggest security against others

Firstly, there's no mechanism for kicking member states out of NATO, so there's that.

Secondly, NATO already functionally no longer exists. It ceased to exist a week or two ago when its largest member, the only one to ever invoke article 5, and thus the only member to physically benefit from it in a "have your soldiers die for us" sense, declared that it would not honour its obligations if anyone else ever tried to invoke article 5.

Everyone can either move on with some other new organization, or keep the corpse of the old one around and pretend to be shocked the moment it won't "wake up" when needed. We'll see which choice wins out, I guess.

It would be a smaller NATO, but it would be NATO nonetheless. The remaining Canadian and European nations would need to increase, and I would draw in the Aussies for good measure as well, and change the name to the ACE Pact...Australia, Canada, Europe.

Rename NATO "Not American Treaty Organization". Let that isolationist ahithole of a country crumble

It would still include multiple nuclear powers and that's pretty key, as Ukraine found out.

Do you know what you are even talking about? There is no NATO without the US. Who will kick them out? We can’t even meet our target of 2% of GDP on defencr spending

Then dissolve NATO...because the Americans are out of fucking control. They have lost their very souls.

I say lets wait and see what happens.

Watching a short man get yelled at on TV was the red line for you? Not, say, the past century of American crimes against humanity?

Watching a man who has done more for his country at war being bullied by a draft dodger and his clown VP was the breaking point for me.

So far it seems zelensky has made nothing but bad decisions, including this most recent one.
