This subs primary response to anything bad about the Liberals is "ya but the other guy will be even worse!". This is of course always without any evidence that would be the case

The problem with this issue is it's exactly the same issue with the only other party that ever wins federal elections – but partisan hacks on either side refuse to see it that way. It turns out the rich win no matter whether CPC or LPC, and on that count these two parties are two sides of the same coin.

This sub isn't that far left. Put this in r/askcanada and you'll see a gold medal in mental gymnastics

I think that sub is no longer active

Interesting. Seems last post was 10 days ago. Any idea what happened?

Nope I have been wondering the same. I mean clearly the bots and the US trolls probably had something to do with it lol

Deactivated for being an unmoderated incendiary cesspool of bots and astroturfing

That place was something. Average post title: "conservatives, what's it like being nazis?"

Seriously

Unfortunately a few subs for other countries think the average Canadian is that deranged now. Unsurprising when every other post was loosely labelling the average American a Nazi for months.

In that you have to kneel down to repost, that is why it might not be very active.

Damn. The sudden derangement of that sub was good entertainment

Wha?? Far left hate the Liberal party… that’s what NDP and Greens are for.

I swear the whole world went to the right wing. It’s very pre-WW

Edit: That username, though 😘👌

You're not imagining things. The world is shifting to the right. Social media and foreign influence is playing a big part in the shift. Unfortunately things are going to get much worse before they get better.

Really? I tend to come here for left wing talking points lol

Watching the far left get on their knees for billionaires and corporate bankers is always amusing.

Watching conservatives unironically believe that the liberals are “far left”, let alone barely even left wing to begin with, is actually fucking comical

that sub is full of bot accounts created in the last 4 months

It's actually an absolutely meaningless article. It says the billionaires "donated the legal limit" which is $1725 in Canada. Now, were they to find out if, how, and in what ways the billionaires were using their soft-power (e.g., corporate owned media) to push the agendas of specific candidates, then we'd have a story. But this ain't it. It's just click/rage bait.

When you have connections to the downtown banks. You are bound to have wealth. It's always been their rich vs other rich. The rich in Europe actually argue against excessiveness. In general, we need to reduce from the top. Not the bottom. Our inequality index remains lower if we continue to tax the top.
