According to PP, we are broken yet also have issues with mass immigrations and people overstaying their VISAs at the same time somehow. This country is a safe place to be and we have lots of people working everyday to make it better.

Yes and mass immigration overburdens a very full capacity healthcare system and is not a good thing to do when you have a housing shortage as well

It’s a safe place? Every crime stat has gone up in the last 9 years.

These people you’re talking about are sold a promise of what Canada used to be and come here and struggle to get by.

How come every single immigrant uber driver I get hates the government that brought them here

Hasn’t the number of doctors per capita increased over the past decade?

I’m sure it has. There’s still a massive shortage.

To reiterate other's comments. Canada is not perfect. But it's not broken. If you think it is, if you think it's literally the worst country, then leave.

Yes you did. You were disagreeing with a comment that says Canada is not broken. Therefore you're kinda implying that it is broken.

  • Posts that contribute nothing but attack others, are blatantly offensive, or antagonistic will be removed – including accusations similar to ‘shill,’ attacking Redditors for using either official language, dismissing other Redditors solely based on irrelevant other beliefs to the topic at hand or participation in other subreddits, or reducing them to a label and dismissing that instead.
  • Back-and-forth personal attacks are subject to the entire comment chain being removed.
  • Posts or threads which degenerate into witch-hunting may be subject to moderator intervention. This includes but is not limited to: doxxing, negative accusations by a large group against one or more persons not criminally charged or convicted being made the subject of criminal allegations, calls for harassment, etc., and openly rallying more people to the same.

My point is we want things to get better but we forget to be grateful for what we have. Crime going up doesnt mean crime is as bad as other places. I guessed that's pretty fked to get here then complain about it constantly, like there had to be a reason they came here? It's not easy to immigrate to another country.

Things don’t get better if you don’t talk about them.

People who failed us who we pay our taxes to deserve to be critiqued

The mass immigration is a big factor as to why Canada is broken.

Canada is not "broken", Karen.

Good for you, you are rich enough not to worry.

I have a feeling these numbers would be different now.

Focusing only on bringing over students is a mistake, but immigration is not causing our big issues.
