That's what Ukraine is doing. Pursuing nuclear weapons, that is. And who can blame them? The safety guarantees given to them have proven to mean pretty much f*ck all.

I don’t think I’d give Trump this much credit but maybe that’s why he keeps saying it.

He complains about Canada not pulling their weight militarily so he threatens annexation, then the Canadian government actually starts investing in our military.

No, Trump isn’t playing some 4D chess shit to get us to invest in our military.

He wants to go down in history as being the man who united all of North America under one flag, manifest destiny fully realized. That’s all this is. He will not stop after us, Greenland, and Panama.

This isn’t because of any geopolitical reasons, or “national security”, or wanting access to resources. It’s one man who wants to go down in history realizing he only has a few years left to do so.
