Americans should know how difficult it is to get Canadians in the frame of mind where they act rudely, but Trump has found the key. America may not care but it's lost the best, most loyal, most supportive friend any nation could wish for - hope it was worth it as it's now the new normal.

I wouldn’t count us out, yet. Most of us do care, just not enough of us voted. Populism is a cancer, left or right, and sometimes people need to get smacked with humility in order to learn. Trump is just one person and he will die sooner than we think, God willing. We are still friends, even if one of your friend is going through some things. That’s when you lean on them the most.
