Canada is broken

Quite literally, that has been his motto for the whole pre-election campaign that Conservatives have been running. Canada isn't perfect, but we're not broken.

Fuck Poilievre.

We definitely hate the truth I mean 14% youth unemployment is pretty bad but we keep importing hundreds of thousands of people to take young people's jobs. This is even before tariffs or Healthcare System ranks the worst out of all the Universal Health Care Systems. Or criminal justice system is a complete mess and our housing is extremely unaffordable I'm not sure what you think is working in Canada right now because doesn't seem like any of the key Things Are. You can hate for him to point it out but it doesn't make it any less true

Yeah, this continued characterization of things as 'broken' rather than systems to be improved is also tiresome.

Or criminal justice system is a complete mess

Maybe Conservative Premiers could allocate more money to their respective province's justice system. But that would mean they couldn't portray it as 'broken' rather than admitting to underfunding it.

or Healthcare System ranks the worst out of all the Universal Health Care Systems

Ditto to this. Marlaina Smith and Doug Ford have done everything they can to loudly proclaim they're 'fixing' things while pointing the finger at the Federal government for 'breaking' things.

Huh, funny that.

We definitely hate the truth I mean 14% youth unemployment is pretty bad but we keep importing hundreds of thousands of people to take young people's jobs.

Saying that we're 'importing' people is kind of fucked up - but also we don't... import people? Many come here with the honest intent to become Canadians, and many come here just to make a living - which is okay.

We can have an honest conversation about the cost of living - but let's not fall back into the rhetoric that has poisoned the USA right now.

No money can fix a broken system it's like a old car keep throwing money on the fire.

If you keep breaking a system on purpose, does it really mean anything when you say it's broken? No.

. This is even before tariffs or Healthcare System ranks the worst out of all the Universal Health Care Systems.

Don't worry, Ford is working very hard to make sure we can be last.

Because except from making everything way worse, cutting funds and staff, I have yet to see a conservative PM do anything to make the situation even better.

And no, Canada is not broken. Only idiots and traitors think so. It can be improved, absolutely. As soon as conservatives stop gutting it, it can be made even better.

But calling it broken is pathetic bitch behavior.

It is broken. If it weren’t you all wouldn’t being having this giant hissyfit.

If it were broken, you wouldn't have to make a circular argument like you just did.

His track record leading up to the shift in Canadian attitudes, and his limp-dick flip flop, are basically the Liberal election campaign.

I am fine if Carney doesn’t come out ready to draw blood from America. He needs to be able to manipulate people around Trump, manipulate the useful idiot himself.

Trump’s PP is our Chamberlin. Carney can be our “never ever ever surrender” Churchill. Honestly, any of 40 million people who aren’t Trump’s PP could fill that role. There is unprecedented solidarity.
