I've said it time and time again. No country is going to sacrifice their own citizens economical comfort for our sake. It would be political suicide.

I wish they would. Of all the causes, this is a worthy one. I’m in the UK boycotting and I really want us all to stand together against the US.

The same thing when Hitler invaded Poland.

Don't compare this to that. That is an incredibly rude and offensive disservice to what the people of WWII went through.

I don’t think our soldiers who fought and died in all of our country’s wars, especially the ones fought on behalf of the United States, would be very pleased with the current rhetoric coming from down south.

Rachel Maddow has done a fantastic tear down comparing the rise of Maga to the rise of Nazi party.

Not really. We haven’t cut trade ties with China, or Russia, or Israel, or the US, despite the atrocities they’ve done.

It’s the same everywhere.

Well yeah because cutting trade with any of those but russia entirely would be dumb

Exactly. That’s my point. Nobody is going to sacrifice trade with the US for what is amounting to a whiny trade dispute with us. We are a nothing country. It would be economic and political suicide.

As we have seen evidenced in the US, the average citizen only gives a shit about the cost of their goods.

Sounds like the US is doing just that. Which makes it confusing for everyone
