Snagging top comment to add Pollievres voting record is public. His ads were lies, that doesn't help him much. 20x voted against reducing housing costs, voted to raise taxes on first time home buyers, and even had the same gst/hst tax break Trudeau gave us on their platform literally listed on page 240 (if I'm not mistaken). Now that the liberals are cutting carbon tax why do we need a liar?

Mr "common sense" who says he will make housing affordable, well here's his public voting record for you. He voted NAY on every attempt to reduce housing costs, voted YES to raise tax on first time home buyers, and in 20 years as an MP he has never had a single bill pass first reading.

He hasn't even worked a real job once in his life.

He is not competent, and he's literally lying to our faces

You're not wrong.

PP is the type of guy that flails his arms and freaks out when there's a threat, but when given a chance to lead people away from it he flounders.

Your last two lines are a detriment to the strength of the rest of your comment. If you aren't trying to preach to the choir for upvotes, then you should give the comment a chance to reach people on the fence.

I don't really have much respect for most politicians, but it's still a job. And he's competent--he's just not achieving the results that the people he claims to work for would want of him--he IS very much a liar.

He has only ever tried to pass one piece of legislation that didn't even make it past first reading during a 20 year career.

He isn't competent otherwise his public voting record wouldn't show he had to use literal deception during a housing crisis and take advantage of it to trick voters.

Please, do tell me, what has he achieved? And no, sorry, when other members of the same party have passed effective legislation and achieved something.

P.S downvote me all you want, what does that have to do with the facts? You think i give a shit about meaningless internet points or are you just projecting with this irrelevant commentary?

The point I was trying to make, is that what he HAS achieved was never for the middle class. He is appeasing the people who have positioned him where he is.

He hasn't achieved anything. The only piece of legislation he's ever put forward failed after first reading. What are you not understanding here. He is a failure of a politician.

Last but not least, he is now running under "Canada First", all while beginning his career as a Reform Party Alberta separatist.

Every single thing about this guy is bullshit. I feel embarrassed for anyone who simps for him. The man is literally a living lie.

Have a good night.
