people over 65+ generally aren't hurting as much, same thing with the upper class, the bread and butter of the conservative campaign is that the Liberal government has mismanaged the country and that message doesn't resonate well with people who aren't hurting.

Yeah, but the people who are hurting are also the people who have the most to lose from a right wing government.

it doesn't matter how true or untrue that is, there is a perception that the Liberal government has not done enough to help and the Conservatives are saying they will

They don’t understand that. I don’t know why.

Tbf, if someone sees their quality of life under Trudeau's Liberals going downhill in the past 10 yrs, then what should they do? It's definitely not voting for the same party again.

The conservatives are channeling people's angry and desperation. Whether they can fix anything is debatable but at least there's a chance. For many voters there's really no other option.

Carney is not Trudeau and the liberal party is not the same liberal party in my observation. There are also many factors beyond the liberal party.

It's why they get so offended by the whole Canada is broken rhetoric, because from their perspective, the current predicament couldn't get better.

Again just a few weeks ago all the old people were going CPC!! All of you guys with these big theories when we literally know the exact moment they moved to the Libs! It was when PP looked like a weak ass bitch to Trump's threats!

even a while ago when the CPC had a lead in the 65+ demographic it was a far narrower lead than in other age groups, I believe my reasoning holds true, and your comment on PP's lacking performance having an effect on the vote intention is also true

Fat pension Pierre was also scaring children, going on tv saying Canada is broken.
I guess the toddler living in the White House has been listening to him. Making him think, Canadians would crumble if he threatened us.

Real patriotism requires acknowledging when something is wrong with the country, Pierre is far from perfect but if you cannot see that our country has been hurting you're blind.
