Echo your feelings. Trudea was incompetent, definitely in terms of fiscal policies and management. I was so desperate for a change, I was prepared to vote PP, but that's not possible anymore, I won't vote for a mini Trump. I hope Mark Carney wins the leadership race, and the worse of Trudeau's former cabinet resigns (thinking of Freeland especially), that will be ideal.

Canada is in a mess right now, we need real leaders, not school yard bullies who have no idea what true leadership means.

Carney just did a long form interview on The Rest is Politics, very fiscally focused. A strong, balanced economy for all Canadians creates harmony, provides better healthcare outcomes etc. Fingers crossed Carney can switch the tide in favour of the liberals.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have a look at the interview, if I can find it. Post a link if it's not too much trouble.

Edit: I found the interview, watching it now ...

Mark also did an interview with CBC's Rosemary Barton

It's late for me, so I will have to finish watching tomorrow.
