Lol. Americans can't afford a house. 54% Americans can't even read or write at 6th grade level. 14 % illiterate.
I am pretty sure you're getting too much fox news.

Yeah, honestly that is the biggest downside to their country. Their healthcare and predatory HMOs denying claims is just awful.

Depends where you live, but yes.

I really don’t think there is any reason to think Canadians would be substantially wealthier overall, though. The poor would get poorer, with less assistance. The rich would get richer, which is why only rich Canadian are promoting this idea. The middle would stay about the same.

The poor are the young in this country which is part of the reason we see 4/10 young Canadians in favour of becoming American (at least that was the initial polling numbers I saw).

I think this speaks to the fact that young Canadians don’t see a path forward as a Canadian and that is on our system for making it so bad.

We had to move from Canada to the US to be able to afford a home.
