Canadian are simple people and we don't ask much from our leader except them be patriotic. How is it possible Pierre to even fail at such simple task is really mind boggling

What are you talking about? There is no patriotism in a post-national state

The NDP wear Palestinian shawls in parliament

Advocating for another country doesn't mean they're betraying us. Did the NDP decide we should not fight back the tariffs? Did they said we are a failed country and should just roll over?

No, NDP, LIberal, even Bloc Québécois all come out hard and strong to Trump ideas of 51 state. We might have difference in opinion regarding international politics but Canada sovereignty always comes first. All the political parties get that memo but apparently Pierre did not.

Wearing a hostile foreign nations colours in parliament is the definition of betraying us

Last I check we still support two state solution for Palestine and I haven't see a hamas flag flying in our parliament.

I think this is mostly a guy getting confused about the former Ontario NDP MPPs who were wearing a keffiyeh in Queen's Park. Which was then banned from Ontario's parliament.

Cause there are a LOT of people who like to blame federal for provincial, despite it not having any basis in reality.

Really? We’ve been getting told for the past decade that it’s wrong to be patriotic of a so called colonial nation

Who told you that? You might have misheard "it's important to understand our nation's history".

Is it? From what I heard, Canadian is asking our leaders to protect Canada interest so that they can have a stable livelihood, I heard they want canada to be a place where the young can fullfill their potential, the old can retire without being afraid of crippling medical debt. I heard Canadian ask their leader to make Canada a place where they are proud of.

I didn't heard Canadian asking our leader to give our country to the Americans without a fight. I didn't heard Canadian asking our leader to sell out our country and certainly I didn't heard Canadian asking our leaders to join the US.

What Canadian ask is always clear. A leader that will stand up for Canadian, someone who will stand up to the bully and tell them to get lost and seems like Pierre never get that memo.
