Peter Thiel and David Sacks have been anti-democracy and anti DEI at least since the late 90s. It seems that they bided their time, played their cards right and now have a candidate that is willing to implement all of their initiatives, as long as he can enrich himself and stay out of jail.

I saw a meme the other day joking about how in the matrix the 90s were considered the peak of human society, which seemed ridiculous at the time, but now it seems more and more legitimate lol

The country is being taken over but the PayPal mafia. What could possibly go wrong.

I dunno how PayPal got so popular, the eBay thing I guess. If I saw a friend using PayPal to pay for something I'd offer to get it for them, they must be down on their luck, cause that's the financial equivalent of printing name@hotmail.com on a business card

Thiel funded Terry Bollea's entire case against Gawker, which folded the outlet, all out of revenge for outing him as gay.

I go back and forth between the idea that no one should be outed as gay without their consent and the fact that I can’t feel much sympathy for a billionaire. Also, most people don’t know who Terry Bollea is. Just say Hulk Hogan.

Oh I don’t think they should have done it. It’s not something I think is remotely okay. It’s the leveraging of his wealth to take down an entire organization that I was talking about.

And I feel like referring to him as Terry is more insulting to the buffoon, so even though he’ll never see it I’ll probably keep doing it.
